Reviews and Ratings
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was cozy and well-equipped, but there were some minor inconveniences. The service was friendly but slightly slow at times. The location was superb with beautiful sea views, though parking was a bit challenging. The dining experience was good overall. The facilities were adequate but not exceptional.
The hotel is currently undergoing upgrades to bring a historic touch into the modern era. While the rooms upstairs may need a bit of upgrading to match the lovely refurbishment downstairs, the staff is working diligently to elevate the experience. The service was very helpful, friendly, and professional, creating a warm atmosphere despite the lack of airflow and provided fans. However, the location opposite Manor Gardens offers a high standard for a pleasant stay, with a few parking challenges, and the dining experience, though with limited options, showed room for improvement.
Our stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were upgraded for free, offering a great view across the Exe. They were basic but very clean with no issues. The room had 1 x Double Bed, 1 x Single Bed, and a camp bed for our youngest, which he loved. It was definitely good value for money.
The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms with friendly and helpful staff. The lovely location provides sweeping views, but some privacy issues may arise. The dining experience is good overall, and the facilities meet expectations.
